However, ECDA (École Communautaire de Duverger d'Aquin) currently pays its teachers only 31 HTG per hour. In essence, what a teacher should earn for only an hour of work at the average rate, an ECDA teacher receives it for a full day of work (2023-2024).

Considering ECDA's financial constraints, where even the current underpaid salaries for the existing four teachers are a challenge, the school committee urgently seeks your support. The goal is to establish a Teachers Salaries Fund that will ensure fair compensation for teachers over the next 5 years and facilitate the hiring of additional teachers to deliver quality education.

- One (1) teacher requires 25 cents ($0.25) per hour or 2 dollars a day. For 5 years, this totals 2,400 USD per teacher.
- For all nine teachers needed (including the current four and five additional teachers), the total comes to 21,600 USD.
